This worldwide campaign will launch on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday and conclude on April 4th on the 50th Anniversary of the Assassination of Dr. King. We are encouraging individuals to cross the cultural and racial divides by participating in service projects or committing acts of kindness that have a positive impact on their communities. This can be done individually or in conjunction with major entities or civic organizations.
WHAT: Invitation to participate in the King Center’s “Love for Humanity: 50 Acts of Service or Kindness” Campaign in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
WHEN: January 15th - April 4th, 2018
WHO: Individuals, companies, corporations, schools, organizations, nonprofits, NGO’s, entities, community, corporate or global leaders, dignitaries, youth, supporters, collaborators, valued partners of the King Center, and ALL that want to make a difference by participating in our “Love for Humanity: 50 Acts of Service or Kindness” Campaign.
WHERE: Your local community, neighborhood, school or workplace, all over the world!
HOW: Cross the cultural and racial divide by participating in service projects or commit acts of kindness that have a positive impact in your communities by:
- Pledging to participate on your own or with an existing project
- Joining the conversation by using the hashtag #MLK50Forward and #50ActsKindness
